Cast Bios

Vaughn Fritts (Stage Directions, Cockroach)

Vaughn Fritts, a Pine Plains NY resident, is an accomplished opera and concert singer. He has appeared in many of America’s finest opera companies and oratorio societies. As an actor, he has recently appeared in several local productions, including the historical play, “Widow’s Weeds,” and with Local Produce Readers’ Theatre in “Merry Christmas, You’re Fired and “Upstate Untitled.”

Melissa Matthews (German Nurse)

Melissa Matthews has worked in the theater for over 30 years and is the Director of Theater Arts at Oakwood Friends School. She recently appeared as Samantha Conklin in PAW’s production of An American Comedy as well as Iago in Othello.

Nicholas Scott (“JP” aka John Patrick aka “Crash” Dockery)

Nicholas Scott is an actor and singer thrilled to be making his Ghost of Fallujah debut as JP. He has performed in a wide range of productions — both on camera and on stage — spanning comedy and drama. Special thanks to Lyon Kennedy for the opportunity, to manager Georgeanne Bruzzese at CPM Talent, and to his family and friends for their continued support of his lifelong passion for performing.

Mary Rotella (Genesee)

Mary Rotella is a Hudson Valley–based actor, dancer, choreographer, director, singer, and teacher whose Broadway and national tour credits include 42nd Street, Cabaret (with Joel Gray), and Jerome Robbins’ Broadway. She toured internationally with My Fair Lady and performed regionally in productions such as Damn Yankees directed by George Abbott, and has also appeared in commercials, film, and industrials while directing and choreographing in the U.S. and abroad. After a 20-year freelance career, she moved into academia, serving as Chair of Dance at Stephens College, Director of Dance at The Masters School, and Chair of Performing Arts at The John Cooper School. She holds a BFA in Dance from Stephens College, where she also studied voice and acting, and now works again in New York as a freelance performer, director/choreographer, and teacher.

Cassiopeia Ottulich (Christina)

Cassiopeia Ottulich is a Hudson Valley–based actor working across theater, film, and voice acting. Stage credits include Sweeney Todd, The Wedding Singer (Linda), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Logainne), Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey), and Shakespeare in Love (Viola), along with numerous original productions. On screen, they have appeared in projects for CollegeHumor and starred in the independent short film Under the Bed. Voice credits include Love(making) Saves the World (Bae-Bae) and When the Music Died (Bride). Outside of performing, Cassiopeia is a professor of Animation and 3D Design at SUNY Ulster and a tattoo artist at Tigerfly Tattoo in Kingston, NY.

Isaiah Wilkerson (Soldier in rooftop scene, Simon)

Isaiah Wilkerson is a 23-year-old actor from Pleasant Valley, New York. His credits include a recurring background role on Pretty Little Liars, a reading of Greenville Tomorrow (as Todd), and The Ghost of Fallujah, in which he plays Simon. He has further developed his craft through a workshop with Michael C. Williams. Outside of acting, Isaiah enjoys reading—his favorite is Dante Alighieri’s The Divine Comedy—and he also writes music and plays guitar. He is excited to continue his journey as an actor.

Willis Williams (BB aka Bo Bobo)

Willis Williams is an actor, voice-over artist, and award-winning director, born and raised in the Bronx and now based in the Hudson Valley. A member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors’ Equity Association, he works across film, television, theater, and audiobooks, with credits including The Dead Don’t Die, Bros, And Just Like That…, Saturday Night Live, and Song Sung Blue, among others.

Zachary Minor (BB’s Father)

Zach Minor has been working in theater since his teenage years. He trained at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, D.C., then went on to NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. After graduating, he drew on his theater-in-education background to found ZINC (Zachary Incorporated), a company that uses performance and educational methodologies to teach life skills to professional athletes and corporate executives. Most recently, he appeared as Prospero in Open Air Shakespeare’s production of The Tempest in Hudson, New York.

Andrew Matthews (TOP)

Andrew Matthews is an actor, director, and casting director, and a graduate of the Theater Program at SUNY New Paltz and Orange County Community College, with further training at HB Studio, The Actors Institute, and The Barrow Group in New York City. He has performed at many of New York’s notable venues, including Theater for the New City, The American Theater of Actors, St. Luke’s Theater, and The Producers Club, with Off-Broadway credits such as Black Angels Over Tuskegee and 12 Steps: The Musical, and appearances in multiple theater festivals including the United Solo Festival. As founder of the ODAAT Players in the Hudson Valley, he directs and produces original work featuring actors in recovery. A member of the Dramatists Guild, he has also written, directed, and produced award-winning short films, including Bill W and Jimmy K and 3 Minutes in Albany. His work spans film, television, and media appearances, along with national ad campaigns for major brands. He is currently developing a docudrama on Ebby Thacher and is a member of the 518 Film Network in New York’s Capital Region.

Kim McConville (Isabelle)

Kim McConville is a Hudson Valley–based actor and singer whose stage credits include Annie, You Can’t Take It With You, Guys and Dolls, Bye Bye Birdie, and The Importance of Being Earnest, among others, along with television work on Good Morning Houston . She has also appeared in cabaret and regional productions and brings a strong musical background to her performances. Trained by Mary Rotella and Susan Fisher McWilliams, with vocal instruction from Nancy Theeman and John E. Hemmingway, Kim pairs her artistic work with a diverse background that includes a degree in Advertising/Marketing from the University of Texas and training in Culinary Arts Management from the Culinary Institute of America. A competitive athlete and Masters world record holder in the 4x800m relay, she brings discipline and energy to her work onstage, most recently appearing in Mary Poppins.
